Converted Backdraft Project
I had talked before about switching back between the Backdraft and Aftershock. I've purchased all the parts necessary to do the swap and wanted to share some pictures. Thanks toKurt and URC Hobby for most of the parts. On the yet to purchase list are the rear hubs and new shock towers. Anyway, here are some pictures. Ihave not put the stickers on the body yet...

RE: Converted Backdraft Project
Parts total, probably a little over $130. If you just wanted the parts necessary to do the Aftershock conversion, it was less than $60.
Oh and the deans plugs things, being honest, I'm not a huge fan. It's very hard to get a good grip on those little things. I end up putting my fingers on the soldered points and wiggling back and forth and just end up breaking them. These, while they may not look as nice are much easier to connect/disconnect. I've put these on all my batteries. My 7 year old who has aHiMoto Truck could not get the deans connectors disconnected easily which gave him a reason not to disconnect the battery after use. So, we switched to these and now all's good.
I wish there were a better option. Maybe the traxxis connectors...I don't know.
