Default redcat 1/10 shortcourse?

so redcat makes a 1/10 scale brushless 4x4 truck, but is it a shortcourse or not? it seems to be a little smaller than a slash. if this is the case then what all parts are interchangeable with other brands and what are the brands and is this truck even worth messing with? and what size lipo could i run without making any changes?

It's the width of the slash but 2" shorter in wheelbase. If you intend on racing, I doubt it would even be allowed in open classes. It's basically the redcat 1/10 buggy with a big body and bumpers on it. It really depends on what you are looking to use it for.

I have some pictures you can compair them with. The Vortex is a great value. Lots of bang for your buck. The brushless is 4X4 and cost about same as the stock RTR 2WD Slash. I have had one for over a year now and love bashing aroubd with it. Hope these Pix help out
