Default Lightning EPX PRO esc problem

I just bought one from a friend of mine and tried using it, the LED 2 is flashing red. It steers but the motor does not turn at all.
I haven't been able to pull up any information on resetting it (no reset button) or any reason for the red light, I have no clue what it means or how to fix it.
Any help would be amazing. I feel like I just wasted $ 100

You have to adjust the throttle trim.
