back draft 8e
was looking into buying a backdraft 8e but have heard of some problems that were pretty common like sterring likage and hub carriers that break easy was wondering if these problems were resolved and how i know i got the new version

Yes Redcat did make a change to the front Hub carriers. They added more mass to the spot that was prone to breakage. The new upgrade ones work very good. I would say a good start to make sure you are getting the newest model is to see if it will come with the 2.4GHz radio (new Model) or the AM radio (old Model) You can always contact the place you plan to purchase it from and ask them to make sure. As far as the steering link, They only would break during a crash. Redcat did change that part as well but to tell you the truth I would still recommend getting the MPO-11 Steering link if you purchase the car. It is a very cheap Upgrade and is well worth it.

Hey all rider... I baught the Earthquake 8Eoff of URCHobby, I also baught the MPO-11, MPO-2, MPO-6 and MPO-7. I love this truck and the outstanding service Igot from the folks at URCHobby! I wnet to buy the wrong parts and Kurt steered me in the right direction. I get all my stuff from them now. Kurt has become a very good friend of mine.
