2 speed 3.5 trans in EQ8E?

Has anyone ever tryed to put a 3.5 trans in an 8E modle you think it would work? I love modding new things

does the trans slip into neutral when accleration isn't applied anymore? The Electric motor should stop the vehicle just fine, right?... I want to eliminate the center diff system and use a slipper clutch.... correct me if I'm wrong but the reason for the brake system on a Nitro is due to the fact that the Nitro engine can't just spin in revers. I wonder if it would fit with the batteries, and how I would make a new motor mount

The transmission goes into a neurtral, thats why you can spin the spur gear backwards without the truck moving.
