Battery dying ?

My son has a Red Cat Volcano truck. We charged the battery for 3-4 hours. We take the car out and it runs for a few minutes and then starts "jerking" and won't backup anymore.

Is this a bad battery? Did my son leave it plugged in for too long and ruin it ? How do you test these batteries?
Should I just get a new battery ?

RE: Battery dying ?

ITS THE BATTERY. If its new you must let the battery charge for at least 8hrs. Unless you have a quick charger it will take at least up to 8hrs to recharge for about 20-30mins use. Hope that helps

RE: Battery dying ?

most of the chargers cut out cant really over charge a battery but like mike said if its new you need to run cycles on the battery for proper use discharge battery fully (which some chargers can do for you) then try to trickle charge if back up for first few uses then can start rampid charging them..

I see your in AZ if have any questions feel free to PM me Zap
