RE: Redcat pics..trucks and buggies
WOW...looks sweet...nice job dude!
I'd like to see a pic with the body off so people can see how you set up the cooling fan....can you add one in your post above? |
RE: Redcat pics..trucks and buggies
Nice body, like the lights, looks real scale, just need to change the rims (chrome w/spinners) and you would have a winner. lol
|
RE: Redcat pics..trucks and buggies
thanks i think its kind of different
|
RE: Redcat pics..trucks and buggies
where might i find rims with spinners
|
RE: Redcat pics..trucks and buggies
Maybe tower hobbies 2.2 size
|
RE: Redcat pics..trucks and buggies
Again...WOW!...thats quite the elaborate setup you got going on there (thanks for the extra pics btw)
Did that body come set up to do all that or did you do it all??...what are those round silver things facing the fan?....sub-woofers?...LOL!;) |
RE: Redcat pics..trucks and buggies
a little bit of both the light in the rear were there shing on the sub woofers :D but i put the blue leds in headlight and bumper and cooling fan was me i figured i would try that to see how it works before i go cutting more holes in the body for air to flow through dont know yet for sure how well it will work keeping cool cause its only been about 30 degrees here in montana so i keep my fingers crossed for a hot day

RE: Redcat pics..trucks and buggies
DiTi, your modifcations look excellent, the suspension looks real nice with all the purple, plus more durable, very impressive
|
RE: Redcat pics..trucks and buggies
what mods to you have to make to put those shocks on? looks real good by the way!!!
|
RE: Redcat pics..trucks and buggies
buy some screws from a hardware store. make sure that they are similar to the stock ones.
you can either buy four screws for each side (front rear, make sure that each screw is as long as the stock ballhead screw so you 'll have enough clearance) or buy four big ones for each pair of shocks. you can pass a big screw al the way through the shock tower and use a couple of nuts on the other end. the shocks I used are these: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXFTK5&P=7 . . . . enjoy, the truck is reborn! :) |
