i ordered this tank the other day and fit onto my sv it is 160cc hpi and gives much more time to a tank. took some modifying to get it in though.

lol that things huge i think the stock one is big enough it will run about 15min on a full tank with the original tank

i dont think i was getting anywhere close to 15 a tank, more like 7-10.

you could have been running rich. if you tune the car right, you could probably get like 12 - 15 minutes to a tank.

i got a new os .18 engine and i was told to run it rich due to running 20% fuel for break in. also if i lean it out it boggs down when i gas it from an idle to half throttle. with it set like i have there is no hesitation when i gas it.

thats wierd, what temps are you running at?? it sounds like you should be able to lean it out more[:o] strange

Not sure how that carb adjusts, but you need to tweak both needles and the idle to get a happy medium. Sounds like your HSN was turned out too much, in turn flooding your LSN[X(]

go back to factory settings and retune from there, cause it really sounds like its too rich.[:o]
