1 of 2 things.

1. you need to raise the idle using the idle screw since when you use the brake it closes the carb, you need to turn the idle screw clockwise until the idle stays the same when you hit the brake

2. your cluctch spring is broken, will it start and run without moving? if not the cluch spring may be broken

i think its number 1 though

most of the time it will stay still just while im driving it after a while ill make a sharp turn and apply the brakes more and itll cut off

the idle screw is not set high enough so to me it sounds like the idle screw needs to but turned up so that when you hit the brake it doesnt shut the carb opening all the way, try to turn the idle screw clockwise.

or it could be that the trim on the throttle servo is off

RE: getting close

it still wounldnt close if the brake was applied, the carb shouldnt shut if you hit the brake. :D

yeah if the carb isnt open far enought at idle it could make a difference. i would make sure the trim is right on the carb, if its open enough at idle i mean, and then adjust the idle screw, cuz by opening the carb up a little more may give u the extra u need to keep it open when u brake. just a thought might not work

RE: getting close

the servo will still pull the carb closed when you hit the brake no matter how the trim is set if the throttle set screw it too closed.
