rclynx do the volcano stubs give you 1/2 inch on each wheel?

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

He needs all 4 of the deep dish traxxas wheels. Looks like he got the shallow dish wheels.

they do, you need this to get it all together:

2- 08064 http://redcatracing.com/parts_searchresult.asp?q=08064

1- 08065 http://redcatracing.com/itemdetail_p...p?partno=08065

if you get this you can use the wheels and tires you have, it will offset the rims.

Here is the difference and if you need them I have 12 sets in stock.......just no grub screws:D
First are the adaptors / then the new longer one and then what you have now. I think its the same wheel but not sure;)

eminentguitar 11-25-2007 01:00 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

different wheels man my off set is further to the outside but that half inch will be enough to make mine work. How do I go about buying them from you?

eminentguitar 11-25-2007 01:04 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

with that setup i shouldnt have any more problems with bent stubs anymore they look alot stronger.

eminentguitar 11-25-2007 01:06 PM

How do you get the wheels balanced? mine are a bit off

ehroof 11-26-2007 02:44 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

sometimes its the foam inside is bunched up in one place

eminentguitar 11-26-2007 07:31 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

But is there a way to get them balanced? The foam was bunched in one spot but I tried to even it out and there was mo way it would stay.

ehroof 11-26-2007 07:33 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

you can try to stick some weights on the inside of the rim to balance them out. whats it doing, a bad wobble when its going?

eminentguitar 11-26-2007 07:43 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

dont know I havent drove it yet lol. Im still waiting for parts. Just when I spin them as fast as I can by hand I can feel there off balance

eminentguitar 11-26-2007 09:38 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

Do you know how a propeller balancer works? I heared that you can use one of them to do the wheels.

What do you think about this In my tsunami I have the os cvrx18, the single speed direct drive, 14 tooth clutch bell, smaller aluminum clutch shoes for a higher stall and the proline gladiator tires. Do you think it will do wheelies with that setup?

ehroof 11-26-2007 09:44 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

i would think so, enter the wheelie contest bro!!!

ehroof 11-26-2007 09:46 PM

RE: Redcat Racing Tsunami Thread

also. to try to balance tires, you can find a coat hanger, stick it thru the center hole, now the heaviest part of the tire should go to the bottom, try to put some weight on the top and see how it spins, its kinda like a prop balancer.
