Dont laugh. I give all the drifters credit but once we get the track set up, it will better. We just through some dots out there. Here want a laugh... http://media.putfile.com/First-lightning-Drift

I do not think the dots were needed out there. lmao! That does look like alot of fun! Did you save a set for me. I want to get some on monday for my lightning. How did the new tires wear, can they be used more than once of driving like that?

Hey dennis where did you get that ABS? Is it ABS pipe or are they actual ABS tires?

Chubbysdad 11-10-2007 09:43 AM

RE: First lightning Drift

They were a set of abs tires but they are actual abs. Did i confuse you lol.. I bought them just to see how they looked but they are just made from 2" black abs. Its just hard to find. I will be making my own. I bought them from ebay.

taping your tires works good too.

Chubbysdad 11-10-2007 01:12 PM

RE: First lightning Drift

nah the tape wears off too fast.

OHHH excuses excuses

ehroof 11-10-2007 01:20 PM

RE: First lightning Drift

i agree, tape is the getto way of drifting, doesnt last long enough and doesnt drift enough, the plastic is the way to go for drifting.

Chubbysdad 11-10-2007 01:22 PM

RE: First lightning Drift

no not an excuse.. Just the truth. electrical tape on pavement doesn't cut it.

RE: First lightning Drift

maybe i will tape up the wheels on my firestorm and drift the getto way lol

Chubbysdad 11-10-2007 01:25 PM

RE: First lightning Drift

Yeah not many good laps.. but that will come. Believe it or not, I felt the same way about the speed but going slow like that is a challenge.
