Tsunami concern

Hey guy's, new at this, just bought tsunami 1 week ago. Already broke a rear hub carrier & body pin off a jump (already fix:D). Many on this forum seem to know what there talking about. So what part should I keep in tool box for future accident? Is there any update that should be done to this truggy so that repair are minimal?

RE: Tsunami concern

Hey ehroof! Should I upgrade those to aluminum or just keep some in stock. What are the spur gear?

ehroof 02-04-2008 08:09 PM

RE: Tsunami concern

i keep all my rc's plastic, aluminum is expensive and can bend and if it doesnt bend or break will break the plastic that its attached to. just my opinion. i do have a tsunami ultrawide coming on wednesday [sm=thumbup.gif] and it comes with extended aluminum arms. The spur gears are the gears that the clutch bell on the engine mesh with(transmission gears), they are plastic and are known to strip. on rc's.

How is there shipping cost, and wait time? I'm in Brampton, Ontario. My buddy already ordered stuff from all about fun and hobbies, shipping cost is good. $8 for first 3 pounds. don't know about wait time.

I have found the aluminum carriers to be more than strong enough.

RE: Tsunami concern

I was just looking on the redcat site and putting a list of items together that I should keep on hand. Someone above listed dog bones. When I look through the list is find 2 different ones.
Dogbones 90mm
Partno: 08029

Dogbone 61mm qty 2
Partno: 02003

As well what is a:
C-Hub
Partno: 02015

I noticed alot of different size screws on the site. Should I keep some of these on hand as well? If so which are most likely to come off of my tsunami?

Thanks
