can anyone post some pics of a cage. i got some alum brazeing rods and alum tube just need to get my wheels spinin. lol thangs for the help. i am putting it on a volcano, but any pics will do

i dont think any will. i am in the prosses of making one. once done i will post tons of pics and maybe redcat will like to support it.lol it should be done by the weekend

yeah. I have a friend that is really good with metal and what not. I might ask him what he can do. Not sure yet though.

well if its not to invoed i will conciter sellin some if darin is ok with that so far i have spent about 9$ and still need about 6$more into it and time. time is money...lol i think once i get one made we are in about 2 to 3 hrs each. im thinkin 35-45 bucks

that is cool. The only problem I could see would be getting one for each vehicle. I know that if you were to do that, that I would have to buy one for both my cars.

true. I think I am done buying cars for a little while. I am sure to have plenty of fun with the 2 I have. Keep us updated on the roll cages though. I think they could definitely sell if you get them done.

i am thinking of making a roll cage for my new buggy when it gets here. not sure what kind of tubing i will use though, i need to go to the hardware store and see what all they have. i want something solid.

fisrt of all whats the perpose of a roll cage. im thinking of a roll bar maybe. if the cage is a good idea i might just weld an alumenum one up:D

will it save your body???. what else will it protect if you have your body on. on my tornado, if iroll it the fin and shock mounts keep the engine and stuff from hitting the ground

a cage would be more durable then just a bar. you can make the cage go up over the shock towers and all that stuff that way if you land funky it will hit the cage and not the part.

you make the cage so it will fit under the body unless you just want to ride with just the cage, i think they look pretty neat with the cage only.

It just makes it stronger.

umm ill look into that. luckly just got a fancy new spool gun for the welder. makes it so i can weld aluminem:D:D

or your could somehow make it so that cage is outside the body, so your body will always be purty
