Spur gear
 

I have a Volcano EPX that needs to replace a spur gear. Is the a video on how to do it? or anyone who knows how to.

Grab a screwdriver and tear the thing apart, I'm sure its not too hard!

If I remember right, here are the steps on how to remove the spur gear:

1) remove the screws ontop of the top aluminum plate (along with the servo saver nut) and then remove that plate.

2) Remove the rear drive cup (this will be in front of the motor mount)

3) Remove the 3 screws under the chassis that line up with the motor mount, then remove the motor mount

4) Remove the C-Clip that is on the spur shaft, then remove the spacers/shims behind that clip

The spur gear should now slide right off but do not loose the pin that goes through the spur shaft.
