Good show on that maiden flight. I am still waiting for my maiden flight on my Debonair. I tried it a few weeks back but runway was wet, muddy and grass a bit too high. Two attempts, no flight. The rain gods have not been favorable. Have had 8" of rain since January 1. A bit of drying out and will try to maiden on Friday. More rain on Saturday.

I tried to to post a picture but cannot figure out how to drag old files to post in reply. Using an iPad but cannot drag the file. More computer mystery for me.

I love your SPAD !
Id like to share mine with you. It started out as a gutter pipe design, but I could not find the right size pipe,, so I made the portion of fuse where the pipe would have gone out of luan plywood. Mine has a 50 inch wingspan. I am waiting on the electronics for this to arrive in the mail. I have a 32 size electric for it but I think I will change it out to a 60 size Tacon. I know that is a big motor upgrade, but this thing keeps getting heavier ! Also, not shown in the pics, there will be a camera mounting point for my Mobius wide angle camera. This is set up to be 6 channel, flaps included.

Looks good Arcade! Just keep an eye on your wing loading. If that gets too high, bigger motor won't really help it fly better. It may yank it off the ground, but.... looks good though.
