3mm is the common thickness available in bookstores here, so I've been using it for my version of the Osborne Platter (a 1/2-A CL trainer). I can also get 4mm and 2mm - the 4mm is too heavy, the 2mm too flexy, the 3mm is just right. The problem is, if one of my friends in the U.S. wants to build this critter, can they easily get the 3mm coro to build it?

Hi there, not much response to your question so far. I made a search on 3mm coro and found your thread. The reason is that I just bought a 3mm sheet of white coro here in Sweden and thought I was the only one using 3mm..?? Fully agree it "feels right" and plan to build a wing within short.
I´m puzzled as to your address - is that Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia or in the USA or what.....??..hope to hear from you....Cheers/Harald

I too can only find 3mm coro here, size 75cm x 100 cm, a tad shorter for one piece wing

I recently got a bunch in Omaha, Nebraska,(USA) and the 3 mm is the standard size they carry. 4 mm is available but they don't carry much. They can order anything in 4 mm and 2 mm.
Midwest Sign is their name.

Yep...I just found (OK,my buddy found it!) a place here in Michigan that sells the 3mm.... bought a few sheets of it

Called Downriver Plastics.... it isn't a retail place but a distributor.....
but they had no prob selling us some sheets
