You could just trace a foamy Extra and make it from coroplast or just use a foam one. There are lots of plans online for those. Crazy Herb has a website with a foam delta. I don't have the link but it is easy to search. It isn't pretty but worked ok on the video. Super cheap. ( a nose heavy plane flies badly, a tail heavy plane can be way out of control. YEHAWW)

Sorry I did not get any reply notifications but I will be trying to build a little extra 300 with not a cox .049 because I came into possesing a norvel big mig .061 that throttles better and smoother and has more power.
I will first try a 6x3 or a 7x2 if I can get one.
It will probably have about a 30" wingspan.

That is a better engine AND you can get parts for them if you look in the 1/2A forum of this BBS there is a supplier of new parts, or there was half way through the year when last I looked. Everything Norvel up to and including .25's in parts and engines. So you is set of good engines and parts. I always loved the cox engines but hated the fact that just as I got everything working good, it was time to reset that stinking ball joint and blammo, I'd ruin the engine. I know folks that know how to do it good though, just a matter of patience, practice and better then moose like reflexes. So, failing all three I swapped to Norvel where there isn't any stinking ball joint! I just say no to those Cox suckers.
Still, don't get crazy and build light. There is a little cox bipe on youtube by user named xjet. Take a look at that and what it does and remember with the Norvel you'll have about twice the power as the sure start he has. Won't make any difference in the glide ratio with a lot of weight though, so think light!

I got a Big Mig .06 to replace an .049 Norvel on my Herr Aquastar. The .049 didn't have enough power to take off from the water. It flew good from a hand launch though. The .06 seems to have enough power but doesn't idle really at anything below full throttle. Rather than go swimming I think I'll just go to the darkside on it. (electric) or fiddle with it a bit more.

Span 65cm
Cord Root 22cm., Tip 14cm. Thickness 10%
Fully symmetrical airfoil
dihedral only at bottom of the wing.
Wing area 11.70 dm. Sq.
Wing loading ~ 22.2g/dm.sq.
Fuse length 35cm.
Fin area 64cm.sq.x2ea.
COG 20-23% @ root
Control 2ch. Elevon mix
Probably, you may like to see, how it flies, but, it's not so fun at the end..[:@]
