I read a while back where someone had some clear colorplast. I am wanting to make a night flying pbf. I found some clear 2mm at Harbor Sales but was wanting 4mm. If someone knows where I could find some please let me know. Thanks

Thanks, I'll call around to some places on Monday and see what I can find. I'll e-mail you Ed if I come up emtpy. I'm not setup for paypal or anything but I'd be happy to send a check or money order to cover the coro and shipping and a little extra for your trouble. Cutting it would not be problem, I just need some 24"x24" pieces.

Hey Jason, I just built a night flier PBF out of "clear". It's not really clear, but close enough. I don't know what you plan to use for lights, but I've got these very cool "glow wires" and I threaded them through the flutes. You wouldn't believe how cool it is! I haven't flown it yet, but will soon! If all you need is a 2'x2', let me know and I'll give it to you for the shipping. After all, it was given to me.

Night flying is BIG here in GA, and so I have been thinking about a night PBF. I didn't know there was such a thing as "Clear" coroplast. Thanks for the tips.

Glow wire = "electro-luminesent (sp?) wire", connected to a small transformer, powered by a 9v battery or in some cases the rx bat (very small planes). Total weight of my rig - 3.8 oz, with bat. You can see them further than you should night lfy, but not quite as far as the better glowsticks. I also use little red flashing lights meant for the shoes of joggers, very nice.

I don't like the blue much, go for all lighter colors, yellow, green, white, etc.

Notice the "clear" coro in the pic. It's more like "translucent, like most of your bathroom windows, lets most of the light through. I weave the glow wire through the flutes and it lights the PBF up like nobodys business.

Just for fun, here's one in the dark. Doesn't do it justice. Oh yeah, you get these at WWW.glowire.com or more specifically for rc stuff at:

*********HARBOR DOES CARRY CLEAR 4 MILL!*********** I get it all the time, but for some reason they don't advertise it. IMO>it's the most durable, stiff, yet light enough coro (the post office makes boxes out it!) and I almost use it exclusively (paint it sometimes). I use both 2mill and 4mill.

Hey Kripto Sorry, I guess I was waiting on an e-mail from you telling me the shipping prices on Monday. Just a misunderstanding. I sent you a PM a few minutes ago. It would be great if your wife could pick me up a sheet. Let me know how much and who and where to send the check. Thanks so much for your effort.
