Ideas for wing construction?
I am well into constructing the fuzz of my latest SPAD, but I am trying to work out what to make the main wing from. I've got correx plastic sheeting for the tail surfaces, but I am unsure what to make the main wing from. I did experiment with heavy duty correx, expanding foam and fibreglass spars but the resulting wing seeemed very heavy - is there a better alternative to using a traditional built-up construction?
Only idea I can think of is to use correx sheeting instead of solarfilm (or equiv.) around a thin-ply frame?
Cheers,

The RNAF wing is lighter than an all 4mm wing if you want a flat bottom airfoil. Other than that, foam will give you a lighter wing with any airfoil shape but that means more time and labor, not to mention having to build a hot cutter.
