Default Purple 24" .15 coro delta. Swap meet style.

Here is one of those 24" coro swap meet delta's. This one has a 24" wingspad, fullsize servo's, fullsize battery and a fullsize 127 futaba receiver. 15 ball bearing engine. It weighs 1lb and 9oz's. These things balance 9" from the front of the motor mount. You need alot of elevator throw and not so much aileron throw. Of course I'm using elevons. Thanks Boogerboy!

Default 4 requests!

Too Cool! 4 Requests! I do the complete how-to after I get home from Toledo! These are built just like a pizza box with a CG 9" from the front of the motor mount. 24" span. Thanks Boogerboy!

Does it fly like a delta, or a PBF? How fast?

Default Flies like a delta!

Built like a pbf and flies like a delta. It is an exact copy of a wildwiz.com .15 delta. I drew it strait from the plans. With a .15 it's pretty fast and fun to fly! With a bb .32 it's a wild ride! Thanks Boogerboy

what size tank are you using?
i put a 4oz on mine and it flys for 30 minutes or more.
almost scared i was gonna run out of battery before fuel.
i kept doing slow inverted pass's to see fuel level

I got home about 8pm started about 9:30 woke the wife up about 12:00 (she fell asleep on the couch)
I had it sitting on the bar all ready to fly she looked at it
and shook her head saying that thing wont fly,
hummm it was in the air 9am sunday morning
couldnt get her to go see it maiden though.
I bet i ran that 4 oz tank dry 10 times.
my sig wonder and fazer were gettin a liitle ticked because they
werent getting any stick time.
so i flew them while i charged the pbf delta battery pack a couple times.

Where's the plans? How about just a sketch, or even dimensions? I really feel the need for a delta. Ya think it'll do 130 or better?

Kitbasher,
What are the dimensions? Did you reinforce the 4mm coro? Did you build it just like a pbf, only tapered LE? How much taper?

It was 24"X24"then tapered 14" back from 3" wide at the frount. The led is not reinforced but it has been stiffen at the rear with welding rod I used to balance it with.

Default Welding Rod

Kitbasher,

I like the idea of using welding rod for balance and for stabilizing the coro.

Good Idea, Think of some more!!!!!!!

Keep em fly'in, John
