easiest way to do pull-pull on rudder and elevator?
I want to give this a try, could I use steel cable or Fireline fishing line(it has zero stretch) ? Also how do you set it up? I am using a coro fuse and want to try to keep everything inside the fuse. I have done pull-pull on a QHOR with two pushrods, but that will not work with this plane. Thanks guys!

I'll tell you the problem i've had with pull-pulls on 4 mil hinges: By the time i get em tight enough to keep from fluttering, the hinge line starts to crush, and they get loose again. I know alot of pbf's are done this way, but, the rudders alot smaller, and doesn't require alot of pull to keep em tight.
If i were gonna bother, i'd use hinge points for hinges.

So what if I take 3/16" dowels and pvc plates to really stiffen up the area? I recently built an US aircore for a guy and that is how all the control surfaces were done.Wherever there was a control horn there were dowels with a pvc plate on top and bottom of the surface. What do you recommend for the setup?

I understand now the tension on the cable is pulling the hinge closed basically. Thanks Chris, if I go that route I will use hinge points though.
