I was able to buy some at a True Value hardware store in Willis, TX. You might try some local True Value stores. Rich

Do you have any Do-It-Best hardware stores nearby? That's where I finally found mine.

Enter your zip code and see if they have a local retailer. If they don't stock it, they should be able to order it and ship to store.
For my first SPAD, I ordered some downspout from egutter.com or something like that. The pricing wasn't too bad, but they charged a few bucks to cut it for shipping, and then the shipping cost. It was probably $25-30 for a 10' piece cut and shipped.

Good luck

I have two new 40" pieces. I can tape them together and ship them to you if you can't find any locally. PM or email me if I can help.

I am in northeast Louisiana and have had the same experience at Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, True Value and the local hardware stores in trying to find 2 1/2" gutter downspout. I even gave them the pictures and SKU #'s. They couldn't find it. I was watching over the local stores shoulder. THEY/WE couldn't find it. Even tried a local door and awning company. Same results.
So.
Thanks very much for the egutter link above. I followed several of the ideas in the 2 and three year old posts on the board and had very little luck. Will call these people Saturday or Monday morning.
Thanks Again,

The True value store in Willis, TX carries it. Perhaps they would ship you a stick or two. Rich

Hi jimmyjames213
It looks like others have given you enough information to locate the PVC square gutter pipe you are looking for. The first SPAD plane I built used square gutter pipe; it was one of the combat planes. I have built about 9 other SPADS and none used PVC square gutter pipe for the fuselage. After I built the Spa3DT shown at spadtothebone.com I became interested in using square, angle, and channel aluminum for my planes. This type of material is sold at my local Lowe's Home Builders Store.
