Default Good low wing SPAD

I learned to fly with a Debonair and a Spadet. I then built and flew a DPS and a Spadstick. I now want to fly some kind of low wing Spad similar to a 4* 40 but have been unable to find plans for anything that I really like.

Anybody have any suggestions. I don't think I'm up to designing anything myself yet.

I built a low wing spadstick and it flew great. Just build the plane per the plans except cover the top of the fuse and put the access hole on the bottom.I also made a symmetrical wing and it flew inverted as well as normal flight.here is a pic of it http://home.earthlink.net/~talleystile1/spadcoke2.JPG

Looks Good!

How did you attach the wing. I couldn't tell from the pictures.
Did you install your servo's from the bottom or is there a hatch on top.

Wing was attached with bands and the servos were all installed from the bottom. You can use wing bolts if you wanted,by putting in a wood piece of ply inside the wing against the spar.I used poly cutting board tapped out and screwed to the sides of the yardstick inside of the fuse.Like this http://home.earthlink.net/~talleystile3/FF7.JPG

You can also take a look at all the plans that are here at Spadworld.

In the Sport Planes are plans for a CoroStar 40 and the Demon. There are other low wing plans as well.

By the way, where do you fly? I'm in Saxonburg and fly out near Kittanning myself.

Good luck,
