keep checking on the site. it is being checked on why the site is down.   were you looking for a particular plane or just in general?

I sure hope it comes back. That site is a wealth of information. I have hard copies of most of the planes that I was interested in, but without that site, I never would have gotten anywhere.

Even though my last 4-5 builds have been from tree products, I might still do a SPAD now and again.

I found a Word document of the Derelict plans and instructions, and the SPA3D plans on my computer here at work. I am sure I have more on my home PC and I know I have hard copies of the Gnat, Debonair, QHOR, Defender, Dogfighter, HOR and SPA3DT at home.

There are backups of the site, just need to figure out WHY the site lapsed and what needs to happen to bring it back online.  In the meantime, if there is a plan you need email me and I'll see if I don't have it on my computer and can't send it too you.

Hey Geoff. here in the us, the .25 size or "open B" is the most popular, with a 40 size, we have to make the saftey line farther away so. I havnt done any 40 size, but that doesnt mean it cant be done. Take the corostang, It could be enlarged say 5 to7 percent and that would make a 40 size. almost all of the spads can be enlarged like that and the construction still be the same. I was thinking about doing that for a regular plane, landing gear also. our combat planes dont have gear on them. so take you pick and enlarge it a few percent and see what you come up with BTW, hopefully the spadtothe bone site will be back up soon, keep checking

Draftman1,

I have a Dogfighter Kit on the way. When you get the disk compiled send me one. I'll pay pal you the postage. I will use several of the plans. First I want to build the Coyote and the dogfighter then later the draco and the extra. I have a K&B 28 that's dying to ride that Dogfighter.

thanks in advance

Only got back into flying this spring after being out for 25 years. Found spads and got hooked. Built the Spadette LC-40. Want to build these: Dogfighter, SSR, Draco, Extra, Get Some, and later the Stick. I also need the DPS and the RANF wing plans. I have the Spadette LC-40 downloaded to my computer. That's all as I trusted that after years the spadtothebone site would always be there. Anyway, I can e-mail these to anyone needing them.draftman1 has agreed to send me the plans noted above if he can find them. If you can find them you can e-mail them to me.

I'm happy to see the site back up.  Does anyone know what happened?  I was afraid we had lost it forever.

I notice there are a lot of broken links on STTB.  Are those guys still around?  Maybe they would like to pass the web page on to someone else....  I mean they've done a great job but it is quite a CHORE to maintain ANY web page for any length of time.....  Maybe they'd like a break.  Just thinkin'......
