Hi draftman1
Great looking twin plane. I could not find your twin on the STTB site. What is the wing span and the weight? On my SPAD twin I found I was not having fun because I was a nervous wreck waiting for an engine to quit. After I changed it to a Pusher/Puller with two .28 Magnums it became my favorite flier.

hey villa. no the plane isnt on the site. well its basicly a stick with engine pods on the wings. It has 2 25fx's 48" w.s I didnt weigh it. It flew really well and only has one flight on it. It was just for show for the Spads over the west coast event. I was also, biting my nails waiting for an egine to die

RE: Coro Pete and Poke, Stick and twin stick
Hi draftman1
Thanks for the info. A twin is perfect as a SPAD. Every balsa twin I have seen flying crashed when one engine quit. I managed about 4 one engine take-offs with my SPAD Twin to practice one engine flying. After gaining a lot of altitude I would try to turn it into the running engine. It would not do it and by this time the plane would be very far away. I would then turn it into the dead engine and each time it spiraled out of control into the ground. I should have gone to idle, made the turn, then SLOWLY added throttle. I miss my Pusher/Puller.

I know what you mea. I would kill the other engine if the other one died. Im not quick enouh on the rudder to try to fly on one engine. come to think of it, Spads are good for alot of planes, not just twins. why dont you build another twin pusher?
