Default Spad Stick wing question

Hi

Did anyone try this Spad Stick wing design. I´m planning to achieve a "Stick" wing shape cutting the top in one piece as per scketch. The bottom is kept rectangular and tips open.

Thanks for comments

JC

The right hand side of that sketch is the *outside* of the wing?  Where is the point on the top foldover supposed to end up?  You want 2 points sticking out the end?  My understanding of it is if you have the point of your aileron sticking out past the end of the wing that might induce flutter into your aileron.  Most of the ones I've seen, the aileron is cut in back the other way to reduce flutter.  If you use 2 servos out in the middle of the wing and keep the aileron linkage in the middle, that'll help.

Hi Patrick

I got a better scketch. Refer to page 22 from SpadStick original STTB free plans. The aileron is glued first to the upper wing instead.

Thanks
JC
