Does anyone know where I can buy 2 1/2" pvc downspout in New Jersey? It would be great if I didn't have to order it.

Most of the places that people have found that sized gutter have been individual hardware stores. True-Value; Ace; U do it etc. have carried it. Some stock it. Some do not.

I found it in two suburban locations near major cities ( Houston and Chicago). One was a True Value...the other an ACE. The ACE that had it was only a few miles away from another ACE that didn't carry it at all!

I have not heard of anyone finding it at the "big box" stores.. i.e. Home depot or Lowe's. Rich


p.s. Some guys have built the same planes but used folded 4 mil Coro. in place of the guttering.

Yeah, Do It Best centers have the brown and the white 2 1/2".....  if they don't stock it, you can usually get it shipped to the store for free.  Check out:  http://doitbest.com/  I saw they have several stores in New Jersey, not sure if one is close to you or not.  Rich is right though, if you've got a good source for 4mm coro, you might want to just fold up a fuse.  Your choice.

I found a hardware store that is ordering it for me. I have a local sign store the ordered me some 2 mil and gave lots of 4 mil scraps to get started. I am excited to get building as I am tired of fixing my balsa fun fly planes all the time.

Agway has it in their catalog, I think they are in NJ.

Awesome WJ!  SPADs can *definitely* take a good beating!
