Sorry Tim, nothing on the German jets in my library. I'm not a big fan of German warbirds actually, not sure why. I do like the Japanese stuff though and am slowly acquiring good references for the ones I'd like to model someday.
No rush on the disks whatsoever, whenever you are done with them.

Did some more work yesterday fitting the retracts in the wing and spent some time on finishing up the CAD work for all the parts now that I have figured out the enginering. Sent files out to have one cut and will get them back this week. I have one "side job project" to complete and I can resume on building in full force. WOO HOO!!

Got alot done this last weekend
1) wings steeted
2) leading edge and tip attached and santed to shape
3) halfs glued together and and reinforced the center with fiberglass. You can see the comparison in size to my 1/8 scale bearcat wing at 54" behind it.
Got in the first set of laser cut parts to see how they fit.
I will get much more done this coming weekend. Glad I've got more time to build..

Looks great Tim. Are you sure you will have the nerve to bend it around the pylons after putting in all that work?!!

So now that the wing is faired in going to make the gear doors.
1)marking out where the gear doors go
2)I a[ply transparent monacote so I can locate pattern
3) after monocote I draw on the doors with a fine pen (this will transfer on to the glass when it is removed)
4) Then I lay up 2 layers of the sig 6oz cloth with epoxy resin
5) now I have to wait till tomorrow so I can post more then
