You will once you see my regestration form LOL. I'm all ready, wanted to get out and fly the airplanes this week but no time. Will be out on Sat for some practice. Got a Picco 80 DF carb on the way for the Rossi .61 not sure if I will be able to get it installed in time or not.

Just a few days away and we haven't heard much in the way of Leadfoot banter. What gives?

What about Jake's banter? I haven't even received an entry for him yet. Did we kick his butt so badly last race that he doesn't wanna play with us anymore?

OK add to the list of things to bring...........dollar bills for Jake's salsa dancing.
Dave, no new gold attempts just yet. We enjoy flying silver with you guys but the .61 powered Macchi is currently the points leader in Kevin's series and I want to keep it there. Got the Picco carb installed and dialed in last nite. The carb and new pipe/header arrangement look promising. I didn't have any numbers previously to compare but last night it was spinning a stock APC 11X12 at a flat 12K and was still very well behaved. Somehow stripped the throttle servo so I need to wait till the hobby shop opens before I can pack up and head to the field.

"Hardy Fricken Har" gentlemen. Have your chuckles and moment of light brevity while it lasts, because I am a comin down. BTW. No salsa this go around. I am bringing the smoker and some tri tip. If you want tho throw anything on the smoker, it should be up and running by 1 or 2 and the more we can stack in the smoker the better. See you losers tomorrow...

Can someone explain on how the scoring is figured out on the last race? If you have 4 guys with 12 points how do you seperate them? What makes the difference from first, second, third and forth? Also I've added up the times of each heat and my total is competely different then the one posted, for some reason they don't add up, what am I missing?
Please explain
Thanks

Hey babe, the points sheet doesn't account for did not starts (DNS), did not finish's (DNF), and break outs (BO). While there were 4 pilots with 12 points the winners are determined by these three factors before it comes to time. In your case you had 12 points but you had 1 break out where the other 3 pilots had zero breakouts. The actual order of the winners were 1st was ed Wittenburg, 2nd Kimo Dias (fastest time, no breakouts), Ray Brindos (2nd fastest time, no breakouts). That's how the 4 way tie was determined.

As far as your time goes, I did the math a few times and kept coming up with 7:39.4. It's hard because I'm not good at math and had my wife help me out. I was coming up with wrong times too but she showed me how to do it. Just remember you are working with 60 seconds in a minute not 100. That was my problem. When we enter the times in the computer and it does the work for us. The computer was correct though. Your time kinda gets thrown out though because of the breakout but you still get 12 points. Does that make since? Probably not cause I just confused myself.

Ok I get it know, I realized after I wrote that statment I was adding up the times wrong, I also forgot that the time needed to be changed into seconds to be correct. So the breakout really messes you up, I didn't figure that in. Thanks for the explanation
