Salinas T-34 Race - Updated with Results
We are having our 3rd T-34 race of the Triangle series this Saturday at Salinas.
Weather looks good and the racing should be good as well.
Attached are directions, flyer and entry form for those who like to print and fill it out ahead of time and available at [link=http://www.rcpylonracing.com]www.rcpylonracing.com[/link]
Regards,
Joe.

it was great fun as always. a few planes still were rekitted but as far as i rmember no midairs. So that means all the racers are getting better. maybe next race will be no rekitting of planes at all. That 46 warbird racing looks really fun......

RE: Salinas T-34 Race - Updated with Results
Hi racers,
Great turn out, 27 entries.
Great racing and sportsmanship.
Good to see a number of first time racers as well.
Thanks to the Salinas Area Modelers, the great helpers, Rick Maida who CD'd and Kevin Norred and James Gales for running the flight line efficiently.
Following are the results and attached are the updated series points total as well as posted at [link=http://www.rcpylonracing.com]www.rcpylonracing.com[/link]
(note while there was no Unlimited Warbird at Salinas due to size of field, the attached has a change in points as I corrected an error for David Jewel)
Morgan Hill will be a two day race so we'll have 8 qualifying rounds plus the trophy round so someone can grab up to 45 points so a lot is still possible.
Salinas Results:
Novice T-34
Top Qualifier and 1st in the trophy race: Greg Balesteri (welcome to T-34 racing)
2nd Place: Tim Stahlke
Silver T-34
Top Qualifier and 1st in the trophy race: Josh Killibrew
2nd Place: Joe DeLateur
3rd Place: Scott Morasci
Gold T-34
Top Qualifier (father like son): Doug Killebrew
1st Place: Jeff Robinson
2nd Place: Stan Cole
3rd Place: Doug Killibrew (pays off not to cut in the trophy race)
.46 Warbird
Top Qualifier and 1st Place in trophy race: Babe Caltabiano
2nd Place: Shawn Berkheimer
3rd Place: Denny Jewel
See you all at Morgan Hill.
