By the looks of it I think they are going to have to create another class. That dude should be way too fast for the 1:25 thing. I wish you all the luck with the "Stay Off My Line Deal" Stuff just happens unless your flying in the clouds like some do.
I just cant get enough out of the racing unless down low to the ground. It has cost me lots of airplanes but it is what it is.

I hear ya Dave, The plan is to test hop it out there at SAM's next weekend. Once the paintwork is done it really should only take 2 or 3 hours to assemble. I hope it's as fast as you think, we will see pretty soon. I was hoping someone else would get the " Stay off my line " Joke. Maybe he just hadn't seen it yet.

Speed,
It looks like you have finally figured it out. The lead airplane owns the line and all others have to stay off it. I sure hope that you are fast enough now to enjoy "YOUR LINE"... Just be careful, there are some newer gold pilots that you may be lapping on the course who accidently get in your way and destroy your airplane. Trust me, it sucks.... Been there, done that.

Yes bud that did suck for us both. Crappy way to meet someone. I'm glad we were both able to look past it and be buds. Now you know why it's going on 2 years that I have not renewed my membership with the club just down the street. I'd rather go fly with the Sac crew.

PS I have already told JR to just hold his line and I will fly around him.

Easy come, easy go. BTW, my 10 YO is getting a BB gun for Christmas... Do you have any Macchi side views I can "blow" up?

Sounds like the expectations for etreme speed is high this year.
Maybe a 1:20 is in order sometime in the future.

JR did you get my entry?

I am flying my KI in Phoenix this weekend at an RCPRO race. Hoping all goes well. New 115 in it with 5 runs. Its time to dump the nitro and see what it'll do

looking forward to Aprils race...... and I own all the lines.... just sayin'

Marty,
Yes I got your entry and I am glad you are going to make it.

As far as you Speed, you have been following my line for a couple years and even in the race when we did the unlimited class, you followed my line there too. Plaques and history tells it all bro. Just remember to have Skids adjust your needle when you come down here to test fly. lol

You know, with a little more skill you would only need one line.

That is where the skills fall in place to be able to go in many lines to avoid other people and win the race. One line just does not do it.

Speed I'm just curious, How big of a tank can you fit into the whiffle ball bat fuse? These 115s are very thirsty. Make sure you have "At Least 10 oz"

Yea Dave not going to play that game again. This one carries a 16 oz Hayes tank. Yes it's cramped in there.

Well guys, I gave it the best shot to make it gold this year. But unfortantly had bad luck and crashed another plane today. Dont know what is going on but lost radio and watched it fly away again. Gold is out of the question this year. All I can hope for is to have the Silver planes ready by race date. Not sure if they will be ready. Good luck to all the Gold pilots as I was really looking forward to racing Gold.

Sorry to hear that JR. I am shooting for gold also. my little 70 as some issues and I went and put a little 2 stroke in my plane. A Jett 46. not super powerful but turning some 8.4-8.8 times right now. I will order some parts for the 70 soon. i think i will make a WM mustang for the WS as a back up for gold.

I did not recieve an entry for Bronze. You might want to resubmit Bronze.

JR that really sucks. V and I will adjust our arrival time this weekend so I can lend a hand on Sat if you need the help getting something together. Jeff, maybe one of the guys can clarify but I remember reading either SAM's rules or the Triangle rules that dis allow Nelson or Jett engines. I can't remember which series off the top of my head so may or may not be an issue.

Shawn that was the Triangle series in the 46 Warbird stuff. The Jett 46 is a sport engine and isnt very strong lol. The engines done by Ron are stronger anyway. I am shooting for 1:20 lap time so I can be right on the number. I think the little 70 can do well i just need more time for prop testing. I did get 11,000 on the 11x14 APC (unmodified). I think a 11.5x14N would be perfect.

JR has decided to remain in silver with the sole purpose of keeping another championship out of Kimo's hands.
