I don't even want to know what Kimo has been doing to Joe with his thumbs. Kinda makes sense that Kimo may need a 115WS to be competitive in silver.....

Have to agree with airraptor it was a great day, I had lots of fun, I will be back for the trashman, with the new plane ready to run and kick butt even better. I will complete the wing clip that my plane started in the Silver A Main and make it fly straight and predictable so I can complete the victory next time.

As a side note I hope to have my EF1 complete by then as well, maybe me and Campi could put on a mini race demo with them.

Jeff,
That is very generous of you. I was only joking. I wouldnt ask to borrow some one elses plane. Youre the guy who brings 5-6 race planes, 4 sport planes, 3 more race planes for other events and still has time to Race something else. You are the Iron Man.

nahits no big deal but they are not that fast though, only around 115 average. I will get some extra batteries. Maybe I can get Robert to bring his and we have a 5-6 plane race during the lunch break.

Lipos are no illegal at SAMs. They are only illegal to have them in your race planes when racing.

Just to let you know is that the flying is closed off during lunch during the races. If you like to do a demo then please coordinate that with me and I will put that in the agenda. We had an issue of flying this last race during lunch time and there was people in the field retrieving thier airplane and it was very unsafe. So if you like to do a demo, please let me know ahead of time and how many planes.

Sorry to be a stiff about that but we have to look at the safety first.
thanks
JR

well since someone else brought i think it would be cool to do a single 8 lap race with these like they do in morgan hill. Also I was the one that flew during the lunch time.

This facility doesnt have a 3 pole set up do they? I take it if this were to be cleared by JR then it would be a 2 pole event? Id love to bring my USRA Unlimited Stiletto, but the field as short as it is wouldnt even allow me one hop on touch down, it would go the entire field length before touching again.

The Morgan Hill set up was a two pole event set up just like the warbird stuff with the exception of only 8 laps. It is a flying start unlike the three pole stuff. JR I know this would add a bunch to the time and coordination but i think it might be cool to see them go.

Marty I would really like to see the big race plane go.

if this is cleared and enough entries are there, maybe we could get planes/tx dialed in on Fri?

JR,

I will contact you in a week or so (you need some time off from our requests) and work with you on the possibility of doing such a demo. It may be interesting to see I was compelled to get once after attending the oakdale race and seeing them, having multiple planes would also be fun, however safety is first and foremost and we all will abide by the clubs decision on this as well.
