Guys, I think JR is being just a bit too modest in describing this upcoming race. IT'S GOING TO BE HUGE! We will have great prizes, great food, lots of fun and there's going to be some big names there. Just imagine some of us regular guys get the opportunity to race against some R/C icons. I'm sure there will some breathtaking lunchtime demo flying by some of these superstars. As JR has said and I can't stress enough.........YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS THIS RACE! Even if you choose not to race or your class is full, it's something you will want to come watch and there will be a general raffle with lots of great stuff. Put it on your calendar, get registered and get to Sac. R/C racing just does not get any better then the Trashman YS Classic.

I am very excited for the sponsorship from JR Americas. The DMSS system and the telemetry capabilities is incredible. As a Team JR member I am committing the XG 8 to the workers raffle if I were to end up in the position to win it (and believe me I want one of these). I am throwing down a challenge to all the Team JR pilots that they do the same. You guys on board?

Jimmy, I forgot about the APC prize. Probably because I don't want to succum to that temptation. I'm going to be perfectly happy flying 1:27 all weekend. I will let the rest of the guys fight for that pile of cash.

The thing I like most about these radio's are the digital trim on the throttle. I love my 9503 except for the analog trim. The wife has committed to buying me a dx9 for christmas but if I win this radio that will not be necessary. This is going to be an awesome race.

No problem Marty, I'd be happy flying 1:27 and no cuts all weekend long. Just do me the favor of taking points away from Sergio and Jimmy.

JR How many people plan to race in the noon time demo on Saturday with the EF-1 planes? I crashed one of mine in the race in woodland and Robert had a midair. I have one left but dont have one for Marty now and wont have time to build one.

Ohhh Speed no reason to trash talk this late in the game. And I am sure gonna hate coming up there and ruining your bid for the championship.
But driving all that way means I need to convince the wife it is worth it. So ya see I have to win or she wont let me come out and play in your guys sandbox any more. With all that said, Im not coming to have fun..... I have money to make. I appreciate you donating cash to my cause!!

Too funny bud but remember my wife is right there behind me so if I loose I'm going to get smacked in the head even before I can land. It's all good as long as you don't midair me. You may have to go home to your wife broke and with a hard hat impression on your chest. Trixie has been known to throw her hard hat.

That sounds like an official threat. Id like to go on record before the first thrown hard hat that I was threatened by a fellow racer.
I may have to bring my intimidator with me.

Yea I crashed mine as well, she is back together but I have not flown her since the crash so I will be out. I know Matt and Rick agreed to do it. I will email them.

I am sorry bud, but I have Silver already wrapped up, so you are going to have to placate the boss some other way. Second is open, but JR might have something to say about that.

My my James, getting a little chipper over the morning coffee? At this point the actual racing is just a formality. The winners for each class will be as follows.

Gold, Speed
Silver, JR
Bronze, Mark F.

Look on the bright side guys, I'm going to donate a Macchi short kit to the raffle so one of you guys can be more competitive next year.

JR,
Is there a head count yet as to how many pilots I will be beating to earn the top spots?
