My goal would be to have a good time!.... and if I am a bit lucky I might be able to make some of the goals listed above my own . I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in September.

yes it is a bunch of fun. When the planes are with in 50 feet of each other the whole ten laps is the best and makes for a great show for everyone else.

JR I dont know how you/we want to go with this but I think it would be col if we could get a professional film the whole race weekend. This could be put on youtube for free or other places and could show our sponsers. maybe do the local news thing like ashcreek.

That is a great idea. Many of us have tried to get the news crew out and it is very hard here in sacramento. The news crews out here rather film someone eating or even film someone's closet. And I am not kidding about that. We have had a couple filming in the last 10 years and it is hard to convince them to come out.
If I could find someone to film, it would be great. But again it is hard to find that person that is willing to do it or even able to keep with the planes and able to see them on the video.
If you got any ideas, I am open ears.

Well here in the south bay we have a sometimes racer who is a professional cameraman, he use to work for NBC. I will see if I have his email address we may be able to get him to come out. His name is Walter Colby.

Hell NO! If it did I would have already locked up the Gold Championship for 2014. It means exactly this: "I did not go to SAM and practice enough before the race" This WILL change before the Trashman. So it be written so it be done!

I already have a form of auto throttle, I put the stick all the way forward, and it does not change until the race is over

Jim auto throttle is a computer that controls the throttle to maintain a pre-set speed. so if I want to dil up 150 mph it will stay there. i wont use anything like that though just messing with you guys. I want to win this legit. Gary and I have a plan already for next year.

Raptor,
auto throttles as in automobile throttle. It was a joke. I was making an attempt at humor as a play on your words. I guess I needed to be more clear. I too have a plan for next year. In a word it is pretty simple. WIN.

Unfortunately, your's and Gary's plans usually end up looking something like this:

. . . and we all know how those plans always turned out.

I think we all have an idea of what comes next . . . don't we?

("Yikes!")

OR . . .

("Kimo-ing" a pylon, or similar painful ending)

But, in any instance, in the end you know the result is gonna look something like this . . .

Sorry my friend, but Leadfoot hasn't been around for awhile, and all this talk of "goals" and "plans", I just couldn't pass it up any longer.

I guess I launched the first salvo. Let the pre-race smack talk officially commence!
