I was going try announcing this year as well. I did it briefly at a local event we did a demo at and it was fun. I really made those 80 MPH plane heats sound exciting. If I go this route, I will have many Gold RTF planes for sale.

My buddy just got one and I told him to sheet the stab (thats a standard for me on silver and up). He is puttin a YS91 on it. Id like to try one with some mods and change some things on it... Poor thing only comes with a 10 oz tank, guess they want you to run a TT46 on it, and it weighs 7-8 lbs. It sounds like it hs some sort of NACA airfoil. The wing looked pretty sporty but not too fat. Id think it would be silver with a YS on it.

I have a WM Miss America and a YS70, and it has already cracked the fuse back at the stab. I do have close 200 flights on it though. All These ARFS just need beefing up for what we do to them. Thats what is making the new Spitfire from Airborne so attractive- it is race ready and built correctly.

I like the "Speed" on the side. Looks like Shawn finally has his plane.

I should just order the decal sheet. LOL. Then again if I was to rework it I bet I could get it to run 1:25. Then again why would I want a Mustang? Mustangs are like opinions and A holes.................

Then again why would I want a Mustang?

Because they are the sexiest looking planes out there. Nothing worst then an ugly warbird, and there are ugly ones out there..... non American of course.

Jimmy, after Sunday watching you fly your 100mph Mustang gave me yet another reason to stick with the Macchi.

Marty, when I want sexy I will look to my wife, when I want to go fast and turn left I will continue to fly a well designed Macchi.

I love the mustang I really do it is a great looking airplane, but nothing is as sexy as a spitfire. Now if you want ugly you have the Hurricane, which was the better fighter during the BoB.

Atta boy Bull Dog on the Spitfire you are spot on!.... But you left out another ugly airplane. So as to not to offend anyone I won't name the plane here.... but it rhymes with Donkey.

No need to order the decal sheet, Speed. I guess none of you guys noticed the alternate ARF markings/scheme Phoenix Models offers. . . ?

Just order it, instead.

All kidding aside for a bit. We are going back up this weekend to look at more rentals. I know Sunday is the big game but I was hoping to do some flying on Sunday. Will any of you guys be at SAMs?

Shawn,

Not a fan of either team. My flying is still pretty limited, but I'll charge something up and come hang out with you for awhile, at least. Let me know what time you are planning on being out there.

Ollie
