Heads up to the Dash for cash Speed run pilots considering this $500 pay out event. Rather than doing it on Sat after the racing ends, I want to do it at noon time, Sat. We will use the hour where nothing is happening to complete this event. So please be ready at noon time. This way we can race all day Sat w/o any down time.

I am leaving my home in Utah to work in AZ on Tues (10-27). With that said , if you are mailing in your entry fee, you need to do it today or tomorrow at latest so I can get it before I leave. If I don't have it when I leave Utah, you will be required to pay again at the race and I will send check back or destroy it for you.

That might be good Jeff, but I am gonna have pilot be in pilot station and radar gun will be on front straight/ deadline. If need be we will encroach that a bit but not much. Depends on set backs to pit area. Im not having the pilot stand out by gun, he will have to correctly judge his location from a bit of a distance to get best speed. Ill keep it as close as possible but not at the point of endangering spectators or even the pilot. I cant have planes screaming down the runway at these speeds and don't really want pilot endangered either.

Yo peeps! What's happening, just wrapped up the U.S.R.A event down at Rabbit Lake and boy there was some exciting action and records being broke... I can't wait for this! It's going to be awesome with the caliber of war bird pilots! I'm stoked to do it!

Info update on the Big Race: There will be some controlled parking procedures so please see me when you pull in so we can get you arranged orderly and in rows. The club will have snack bar open of Sat (hot dogs and burgers) and Sun (hot dogs only). They will also be open both days for breakfast with donuts and coffee. No engines allowed to run before 9:00 AM. Special dinner at the field Sat night after racing is over served by host club for $10 donation, with tickets sold Fri at registration (so they know how much to prepare). Please help support this for the club. There will be some raffle prizes all controlled by the club, please support this as well.

No 2 cycle motors - all generators must run YS 4 stroke motors on 60%.


I really dont know - I'll be there Thur around 4:00. I am sure generators will be fine before 9:00 am.
Someone from the field is meeting there so we will know for sure Thursday.

There will be room Skids. Many of us will be camping there. With that said, I would lock the doors and lock the tongue. There is a gate at the entrance as well. Not sure if they will be locking that each night or not. But with us there and you all locked up you should be safe.
