Turbine jets are way too slow on a pylon course. Cant turn and only go 200. We are already exceeding this and turn on a dime. Why slow the races down?
Jets are some what cool, but not racing. It would be more just an attraction for crowds, but serious racers want to go fast on both the straights and the turns.

The USRA unlimited class is unique and not for everyone due to costs and technology leaps. These guys are certainly innovators and ahead of the curve of most things RC. To introduce the cost of these jets into our smaller pylon venues would be non productive.

I would love to race a jet with my vendetta on our course.

Pretty much the same story here at Reno in full scale. The jets are cool though. I guess you have to be there, it is a sight and sound thing, watching jets run a pylon course.
