Default RC PRO Warbirds San Fernando Valley 05/11/2019

We are pleased to announce a new venue this year for the RCPRO Warbird racing schedule. The Valley Flyers Club in San Fernando Valley will be hosting two races this year, May 11 and July 13, 2019. The races will be held at the Apollo 11 field. Directions can be found here, FLYING FIELD, and on the flyer shown in this message. Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m. with heats starting at 9:00 a.m., Pacific time.

These races will be held under the current RCPRO Warbird racing rules which can be found by clicking here, Warbird Racing Rules.

This is shaping up to be a great event so be sure to add this to your schedules!

Just a couple edits.

It is RCPro, not Pro RC and Gold, Silver and Bronze not Glod, Silver and Bronze. Beautiful Flyer otherwise.

Blessings, Terry

Anyone, I have asked for recommended places to stay near the field for the upcoming race in May, and so far I have had no reply's. I just don't want to pick something off the internet, so I would appreciate anyone living in the area their recommendations.

As I recall, the Hampton Inn was very close to the field and had excellent and secure parking facilities. Literally 8 minutes from the flying field. :-)

Looking forward to having a great event, meeting some new folks, and kicking Hoss' ass with one hand tied behind my back! I'll fly in Mode 1 just to give him a break...lol.

Your killing me, I could fly the entire race upside down and still beat you, LOL. Looking forward to a fun day of racing, safe travels my friend.

Great location, great weather, great people, who could ask for more? Many thanks to the club and to everyone who made this race happen! Had a load of fun. Broke out allot but came home with 2 complete airplanes.
BTW whose idea was it to put up that ugly guy up in that solo pic.? Man show some class!
