Tommy Gun,
What are the typical course speeds and total elapsed times of your fastest Gold-class racers?
I'm curious about the actual speeds on the course (not out of a dive on the start lap) and total time for 10 laps.

gunfighter-
Thanks for your reply. The course is 700 feet, though, and I'm looking for actual airspeeds (as taken by a radar gun). I'm trying to select an airfoil, and I need to know what range of Reynolds numbers I should be considering.
Hopefully someones had a radar gun on some of the faster planes......

Hi Tony,
This video may give you an idea of our speeds.

We run a similar course to the ones you are used to down south.
The Golds are running 1:30 and sometimes less for ten laps around our 700' two pole course.
