Got my trailer loaded and ready.
Im heading to Winslow, Az for a USRA race this weekend. Gettin my new Unlimited Stiletto with an Aerrow 200. Oh yaaaaaa!!

Then Im gonna stay in Az for that week and hit Speed World on Sat.
My Gold planes are ready. No silver. Never made it back from 2nd flight.



Every one needs to remember to pre register (no money needed up front, just name and numbers etc) to Jerry W.

Terry: definitely "Silver Class". Even Joe's motor doesn't have enough oomph to drag this big hog around at Gold speeds. (Not competitive Gold speeds, anyway).

Marty: got your props sitting on my desk so I don't forget them.

I've got the car half packed and will be heading out tomorrow morning. It will be great to have a good night's sleep for a change. I usually drive through the night and arrive a couple hours before the race. Looking forward to seeing all the AZ guys. Can't wait to hear the sound of 4 big YS engines running on high nitro as they tear around the course. Oh yeah!!!

Hi Guys,

Wow, what a great day of racing! The Phoenix Flyers really know how to put on a race. There were 13 Bronze entries, 14 Silver and 10 Gold. The racing was fierce as usual but fortunately, very little carnage. I didn't see one mid-air. I believe only one plane went down during a race and only a few casualties on landings. Even with all those entries we were able to get in 5 rounds. The Phoenix course workers are second to none.

The weather was just about perfect and the sportsmanship was excellent as usual. It was great to see all my AZ and Utah friends again. I will post pics once I get them edited.

I agree, It was a fantastic day of racing. The guys from Phoenix once again put on a great event as always. Thanks to everyone for a spectacular day and I can't wait to do it again!!!
