RCPRO WARBIRD RACE, TUCSON AZ. 12/01/12
 

Here we go the last race of the season. One request from the TIMPA crew, because of past calls from racers about how many gold racers are coming to the race. Please let me know if you are a gold racer are planning to attend. We will be having a Novice class of 5 laps and a break-out of 1:15.

What are the rules for the Novice class? Is it still warbirds?

Terry it's open to warbirds and sport planes as long as they fall within RCPRO size and weight rules. 5 laps and breakout of 1:15, 4 rounds, entry fee half of normal, pilot must not have raced in an RCPRO WARBIRD RACE.

I can't offer much except to say that I do know who took first place in Gold. Congrats Robert Vogel! ;)

The weather was great and the competiton was hot and close. Thank-you to all the pilots and workers who made this event work and thank-you Terry for posting the results. I'll try to post some pictures soon.
