A-109 Military Helicopter
Here's a few pictures of my Augusta A-109 Military Helicopter.
The Kit is from RC Aerodyne, and comes with just about everything
for a semi scale fuselage.
It's based on the Trex600e mechs, with torque tube.
JR 12X Radio.
Futaba S9255 Servos.
Helicommand Electronic Stabilization.
Duralite 6v Regulator.
LightningHeli 4-Blade Rotor Head, Rotortech 570mm Angle Tip Main Blades.
Century 4-Blade Tail Rotor, CY 95mm Tail Blades.
Scorpion 4025 1100Kv Motor.
6S 5000mAh Batt.
The Front Wheel is Steerable, I also made a Switch Panel for lights, & a fan which
is mounted inside the fuse.
Everything is operated from the TX.

RE: A-109 Military Helicopter
Hey Helo.
How is you chopper holding up after a year? I'm thinking about getting the 600 size Bo-105 or the Fennec AS550. I downloaded the manual for the Fennec AS550 and there seams to be a lot of cutting fiber glass and drilling holes involved.

RE: A-109 Military Helicopter
AmishWarlord, I have no problems at all with the heli. After 100+ flights I've only done standard maintenance twice and it's still like new.
The basic structure of the fuse is pretty good.

RE: A-109 Military Helicopter
Helo, Very nice A-109, I have one sitting in a box at home. And hope I can finish her half as nice as your's !! Did you have a build thread in rcu ? I have been away from this forum have not kept up, been building and flying turbine jets. I know, I know thats no excuse to be wasting my time with those plankers ! flying at or near 200 mph is addictive !! glad to hear the A-109 has been flying awhile now. Enjoy
