What kinp of helicopter was TC's Island Hopper? I thought it might be cool to give my T-Rex a more scale look if that canopy/body is available.

Yup, thats it exactly. I had to look at the "Magnum P.I- The complete first season" box.[sm=thumbup.gif] Cheesey, yes but i still like to watch it now and again.

Thats been my favorite helicopter for as long as I can remember! There's a movie from 1973,"Birds of Prey", starring David Janssen, that is almost continuous flying action with the 500 as the main star. Lots of great chase scenes between 2 helicopters.

It's worth a look if you're a fan of the 500.

Another good heli movie is "Treasure of the Yankee Zephyr" It's a rare old "B" movie, that has a couple of older guys in a heli looking that find a old military plane filled with gold, from there it goes into a Indiana Jones kind of movie. Some of the heli scenes are cool though, like them chasing animals, and netting them from a helicopter.
