Is that a plastic model that you built around the piccolo, or is that a lexan body?

I have a large scale Huey plastic model, and I was thinking that it may be too heavy for my BLADE CP.

i bought the Revell 1/24th scale huey gunship model just for the decals. found out later Revell sells broken or missing parts. decals are a couple bucks. anyway i use the pilots for show, they come out when i fly. i used the antenna, fin on top, and the pitot tube. that's about it. oh yea , one machine gun for my co-pilot turned gunner. i made all the insides out of paper, keep weight down. i didn't build my uh-1d like Ikarus instructions say to. i wanted the doors open. didn't butcher it, cut skids off, tail boom, no way. my tail rotor is still down low. the revell model is a B model, uh-1b , baby huey. i like the d model , bigger, big doors, looks better, i think. i have seen some people use the plastic model on a micro , but needs a brushless motor to lift it. and it's a baby

i've just recently gotten into electric helisl and was wondering, what kind of nightmare would I be gettin into trying to put one of those body kits on a Blade CP? Would I have to do any "manufacturing" to get all the electronics on the inside? Also, what are some good sites to find body/fuselage kits for micros?

blade/hughes300 well, i bought a Blade CP, my 2nd. heli. the Ikarus Hughes300 body will fit you just have to add another mount rod under the battery support. body sits to high on the other one. i used a toothpic and a rubberband. and you can add the rubber grommets off the yellow body inside the dummy tanks and they will hold on the upper aft mount rod. the rest is all stir staws and a Mc D straw.
