    Blue Thunder movie RC helicopters

I am returning to RC after quite some time off. I recently purchased these two helis, made for the movie Blue Thunder, and was looking for any information the members here might have. I have searched the forum archives and found some helpful information but was hoping to learn more. In addition, I would really like to get in contact with the person that made the Blue Thunder models, John Simone; however, I have yet to contact him. Any information (i.e. email) for Mr. Simone would be greatly appreciated. Or, perhaps, someone could forward my request for information to him. Thank you for all your assistance.

RE: Blue Thunder movie RC helicopters

He ran American R/C Helicopters till a plane crashed into the factory and put them out of business, I havent heard much about him since. I have a friend who was a factory pilot for American RC back in the day, I'll email him and see if he knows anything.

Are those fixed pitch helis? Also, What's with the controller next to the Hughes?

RE: Blue Thunder movie RC helicopters

Here are some additional photos. I hope they answer your questions. The Blue Thunder model is not set up to fly at this time. It was partially dismantled to be shipped. Let me know if you need any additional information or photos. Thanks.
