Default Bell 206 balsa fuselage for micro heli

Here is my latest scratchbuilt, Bell 206 balsa fuselage that is nearing completion. Still have lower windows to install and outfit the barebones CP2 I plan to fly it with. The Astar was built some time back and is on a Blade CP airframe. These balsa shells are resin sealed which makes them very durable and easy to repair. They each have an AUW of around 2 ounces which remains comfortably within the lifting capabilities of these 300 size stock helis. Both have instrument consoles and functional strobes.

Thanks! I have some build threads you might be interested in checking out. Really ain't too bad making one of these..it takes me about three weeks to knock one out. http://www.*********.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=64

Edit: Hmmm? those ****things should be *********.com
I must be breaking some rules by mentioning another forum site here, or something?

Edit#2: O.K., definately going against the grain here so just go to rc hangout and look up the scale heli builds. Jeeze!

Very interesting - this is exactly what I've been wanting to do - only on a larger scale - for a 30 nitro. Got a bit more 'umph' there to lift weight, so things can be a bit beefier (and will need to be, I assume.)
Sounds like some design time is needed to make things fit.
Have you considered publishing your plans?
