Default kavan bell ranger

I will be starting to build the kavan bell ranger and was wondering what engine to put into it?
Anyone has any experience there

They were originally designed for a standard .60 size airplane engine, since there were no helicopter engines available at that time. Today's heli engines have a short crankshaft that don't use a prop flange. I can't remember if the Kavan used a prop flange or not.

You might contact 'BarracudaHockey' as he is also building a Kavan Jet Ranger now. he is also the Helicopter forum moderator.
