RE: Spartan AP-2000i flybarless unit
I to have recently bought one , and I fly scale helicopters was hopeing to put it in a 250 with a OH_6A Cayuse ,put it is alittle to big . It looks to me that it is compreable to the SK-360 as for it handles Elev. , Alir. , and Pitch , another forum (RCG) the old timers said it had no gyros ,and it took exturnal gyros to make it work , that is wrong . I will be putting mine in a 500 size UH-72 Lakota , all in all it seems to be a very good unit , I also got the USB Link and the FMA Sencor cable . It will be awhile before I install it as I have to many things on my list ahead of it thanks and what info you come up with let me know.

Yes , it is only a CCMP it has no gyros like a SK-360 and I could not get it to work with seperate gyro or FMA sencer . IMO I wouldn't waist money on it.

Imo SK-360 and Align Flybarless Systems are for the money the better choices, I have the Sk-360 and they work very well. However I would stay away from the Gaui GU-365 as it just doesn't work http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cgivuwEYBSg&feature=player_embedded

Thank you for your comments. Based on your previous one, steering me away from the AP-2000, I just bought a used helicopter with Helicommand Rigid already installed and ready to go. So we'll see how that works out for me I guess. If it doesn't, I guess I'll be selling it all.
