Default How to .

Hello All , I have an existing design that was hand made and built years ago with no computer help .It is all built up and covered with plug in wing and stab. I would like to change the design some as was wondering how you go about getting it into a computer program so that you can alter things that I want to change and then get the parts laser cut.

Thanks

Well first you take the old plans or take apart the model and measure all the parts and then draw all the parts into the CAD program....

There isn't any short way of doing this. If you have the original plans then it's a bit easier because you can measure a lot of the things off the plans. But you still need to re-do the plans in CAD from start to finish. There's no scan and import feature that has the accuracy you need to generate nice fitting laser cut parts. If nothing else the line thickness of the printed plans would ensure that the fits are a disaster.
