When I design them in CAD and cut them on the laser I like to use full ribs with jig tabs on them. When I have to hand cut them then the half rib method is easier.

hi chad. i'm doing this bates tempest and on the stab , he's got the jig tabs on the main spar and the front spar, its pretty wierd,
something im totally not used to . there is 2 degrees up incedence built into it .
the big thing is that the plans were wrong . if you built it the way the plans state you would have down incedence, because the front jig tabs were too short, not alowing the ribs to contact the main spar square.
anyway i got it built
e mailed jerry , but no responce
i finally got some pics of this build , their posted in the scale section
